Definition
What is Establishing course?
- “Establishing”, a program targeting children between the ages of five and twelve, is the first step to read Arabic in the simplest means and methods appropriate to the child's age, in an encouraging and fun atmosphere.
- At this stage, we help the child to know the correct pronunciation of the letter, distinguish between the shape of the letter and its sound, distinguish between short and long vowels. During the process, the child learns to connect letters to form words and read them correctly.
Evaluation class
First of all, the student is evaluated interactively to identify his skills, the nature of his personality and his behavior to choose the most appropriate method for him and develop a studying plan according to the first session.
Plans and books of primary stage
- Next, we start with the specific curriculum using core resources and books such as: «Noor Al-Bayan, Fath-u- Al-Rahman and Norania rule».
- For example, Noor Al-Bayan is the cornerstone, the book contains everything a child needs to learn to read Arabic and recite the Holy Quran.
- The book begins by identifying the shapes of letters, linking sound and movement, forming words with short vowels "Fathah, Kasrah, Dummah", then identifying long vowels; Madd, and hoe to differentiate between them.
- Then learn about Sukoon and to pronounce words that contain Sukoon, passing through Tanween of all kinds, Shaddah, and, finally, with the rules of reciting the Holy Qur'an.
Methods of teaching
- In this program, priority is given to use the child's skills and adapting modern educational methods to make the most benefits during the class and during the program as a whole.
- "Enjoy and Learn" is the most rewarding method of the program.
- It depends on choosing the child's favorite activity and harnessing it to the scientific method, as drawing, coloring, interactive games, songs and stories, and not forgetting rewards and encouraging phrases all the time of class.
- Also, reverse roles, such as telling the student after explaining the rule: "Now you are the teacher, and I am the student.
- You have to explain this rule to me!". or choose an example, then ask them to correct your reading of the word. This method gives the child great confidence in himself, raises his morale and gradually, this method helps him to connect the word in his mind faster.
- These methods help to fully capture the child's attention, combining fun and learning, using all the senses to enhance attention through speech and conversation, vocal awareness, motor interaction, and the use of hands. and many more.
- Of course, children with hyperactivity and learning difficulties cannot be ignored, the program works to provide a calm environment, and different methods until we reach the student to the goal of the program.

So, What’s after Establishing?
- After completing the Primary stage, the child will have understood how to read correctly, and also paid attention to the Ottoman drawing in the Qur'an and was pained by the rules of recitation “Tajweed” that help him move to the higher level; opening the Qur'an, and reciting the verses of the Holy Qur'an correctly.
- With the help of the teacher at the beginning until the student reaches reciting professionally In-shaa-Allah. The teacher can take a path adjacent to reciting the Qur'an, starting by helping the child understand Arabic to speak.
In the end, the course aims to reach the student to recite the Qur'an in proficient - as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said - in the hope that he will join the honorable and obedient scribes (angels).
