In he first instance, ethics are moral principles that control or influence a personʼs behaviour.
With reference to the verses of the Qur'an and the Hadiths, it is obvious that Islam is a religion of ethics which proposes excellent principles to guide individual’s behaviors The Qur’an while describing the Prophet, it does not describe him in relation to his faith or worship; but only him as a person of great character.
In Qur’an, it is observed that immediately after the statement “those who have faith”, it is immediately followed by “and do righteous deeds”.
That is to show that faith in God without righteous deed will be of no value to the people at the Day of judgment.
